Hi, I’m Stacy

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with 8 years of experience helping many individuals achieve their nutrition goals. For the first 4 years of my career I practiced in the clinical inpatient hospital setting and over the past 4 years to the present day I work as an Oncology Dietitian in an outpatient cancer center.

I am a wife and a mom to two boys. As I have become a mom I have realized the stress that can be placed on our kids nutrition. There seems to be pressure to always “get it right” however, I’m here to tell you that’s not how we need to think. I love to talk about kids nutrition with moms, dads, and families to encourage more of an intuitive eating approach, all while creating and establishing a healthy relationship with food for ourselves and our kids. I have a true passion for helping people heal their relationship with food because life is too short to stress about every food decision we make.

I enjoy working one on one with clients to address their nutrition concerns. I am able to counsel patients on a variety of medical nutrition therapy topics however my primary area of expertise is in oncology nutrition (nutrition therapy before, during and after treatment) as well as kids nutrition. The two topics are on different sides of the spectrum but my day to day revolves around oncology care while my nights and weekends revolve around my kids, drawing my interest towards feeding them and coming up with ways to make it easier on others.

I received an undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree from Iowa State University and completed my Dietetic Internship at Iowa State as well. I am a Registered Dietitian and licensed by the State of Iowa.

I am thrilled you are here and look forward to meeting with you.
